Book notes: The Laws of Human Nature

Greene's central move is that one salient trait colors how people read everything else about you: the halo effect, dressed in history and case studies. The product corollary writes itself: people judge a thing in seconds, and that snap judgment bleeds into everything that follows.

The honest application isn't manipulation. It's making the one salient trait genuine (real craft, real clarity) so the halo you earn is one you deserve.
